To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (classic favorite by most)
The Birth of Venus by Sarah Dunant (a definite club favorite!)
The Razor’s Edge by W. Somerset Maugham (very engaging)
Snowflower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See (a lovely story with good discussion)
Secret Life of Bees by Sue Kidd (yet another club favorite)
The Linnet Bird by Linda Holeman (strong, interesting, engaging story)
The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay (another classic well-loved by members)
The Painted Veil by W. Somerset Maugham (good, easy read, lots to discuss)
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova (Dracula is not a club favorite but most members really enjoyed the book, good discussion)
Night by Elie Wiesel (every member read the whole book in one sitting because the pace and story would not let you go, unforgettable, excellent discussion)
Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger (a favorite for some members, less so for others, unfinished by yet others)
Rare Birds by Edward Riche (hilarious, unique, Canadian)
The Christmas Mystery by Jostein Gaarder (a family story but everyone enjoyed it)
